Gibraltar extended their losing streak  to nine  on Tuesday, dropping them down to 5-20. They lost  3-0 to the Sevastopol Pioneers. The Vikings were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Pioneers from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
 Aileen Torres paced Gibraltar's offense, picking up four kills. Torres got some help from  Amelia Zoschke and her seven assists.  Ella Clarke controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
As for Sevastopol,  with the  win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 13-12. They not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since September 2nd (when they won  3-0).
 Sevastopol was led to victory by  Savanna Kiehnau and  Hailey Bosman.  Kiehnau  had four  aces and three  digs, while  Bosman  had 13  digs. Those  13  digs gave  Bosman a new career-high.  Braelyn Staats also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
 Gibraltar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  loss against Peshtigo on the 9th. As for Sevastopol, they have also already played their next match,  a  3-1  victory against Algoma on the 9th.
