Union City was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. Everything went their way against the Dresden Lions as Union City made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Golden Tornadoes, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Union City and bumps their season record up to 7-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Dresden, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Union City will be playing at home against Ballard Memorial at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dresden, they will head out on the road to take on Ballard at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ballard's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Dresden's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
