After three games on the road, Penn Cambria is heading back home. They will take on the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Penn Cambria had to settle for a 59-57 defeat against Central. Penn Cambria has not had much luck with Central recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Caden Gibbons, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Brandon Rabish, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, the third road match was the charm for Westmont Hilltop, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 59-50 victory over Penns Valley Area on Friday.
Penn Cambria's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Westmont Hilltop, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Penn Cambria was able to grind out a solid win over Westmont Hilltop when the teams last played back in February, winning 67-58. Does Penn Cambria have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westmont Hilltop turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
