Cleveland extended their home winning streak to 11 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Addison Evans. The Rams walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cape Fear Colts on Thursday with plenty of help from Evans, who had nine digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 18 or more assists the last 33 times she's played.

While Cleveland might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Cape Fear scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20.

Cleveland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Olivia Weaver out in front who had 20 digs and four assists. Those 20 digs gave Weaver a new career-high. Allie Bogle was another key player, getting ten kills and nine digs.

Cleveland's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cape Fear, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Cleveland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Ayden - Grifton on the 19th. As for Cape Fear, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Jack Britt on the 18th.
