Hopefully Kokomo HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday.

The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kokomo HomeSchool in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost seven in a row.
Kokomo HomeSchool's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of David Hart, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds, and Dane Beery who scored 20 points. Malachi Rinehart was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Tippecanoe HomeSchool came into Friday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 47-34 victory over Homefires back in December of 2023. The win was just what Tippecanoe HomeSchool needed coming off of a 69-33 defeat in their prior match.
Kokomo HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Tippecanoe HomeSchool, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4.
Everything came up roses for Kokomo HomeSchool against the Tornados when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 69-33 victory. With Kokomo HomeSchool ahead 40-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.
