On Friday, The Kamiah Kubs faced the Potlatch Loggers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Kamiah blew past Potlatch, posting a 28-0 victory on the road. The result was nothing new for Kamiah, who have now won seven games by 28 points or more so far this season.
Leading Kamiah to victory were Connor Weddle and Dave Kludt. Weddle rushed for 109 yards on only 13 carries, while Kludt rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Kamiah's victory was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.8 points per game. As for Potlatch, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Kamiah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Potlatch is also done with their season.
