Ripley is a perfect 3-0 against Sissonville since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Vikings will look to defend their home field against the Indians at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Ripley 3.8, Sissonville 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Ripley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of West Virginia's top teams: Hurricane, who was ranked second at the time (Ripley was ranked ninth). The Vikings came out on top against the Redskins by a score of 8-3 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Parker Keller and Bryson Casto were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Keller pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Casto pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Keller got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Casto went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs Casto has posted since back in April.

Meanwhile, Sissonville has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.03 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They fell just short of Spring Valley by a score of 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Indians have suffered since April 21st.
Layne Coffman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jacob Coleman, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
Ripley pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Sissonville, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9.
