In what's become a running theme this season, the Loyd Star Hornets gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Wilkinson County 72-51. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Loyd Star also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
Loyd Star got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colby Terrell out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Terrell is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Mills, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Loyd Star is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Wilkinson County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
Loyd Star does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wilkinson County also has no future games currently scheduled.
