Meanwhile, Our Lady of Good Counsel can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 71-43 win over The Academy of the Holy Cross. Given Our Lady of Good Counsel's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while The Academy of the Holy Cross is ranked 61st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bishop Ireton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.
