In what's become a running theme this season, the Jefferson Yellowjackets gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Le Mars with a sharp 81-60 victory. Winning may never get old, but Jefferson sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Jefferson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Calabro, who scored 24 points. Jordan Dewaele was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Jefferson's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Le Mars, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-51 victory vs. Omaha Northwest on the 8th. Le Mars has also already played their next match, a 63-50 victory against Spencer on the 9th.
