Basketball Game Preview: Madison Central Blue Devils vs. Brookfield Central Beavers

Madison Central is 6-0 against Brookfield Central since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Madison Central Blue Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Brookfield Central Beavers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Madison Central has three straight wins, Brookfield Central has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Wednesday, Madison Central made easy work of Cincinnatus Central and carried off a 75-54 victory. Fans of the Blue Devils have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Brookfield Central played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Otselic Valley and fell 67-27. The Beavers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-11.

Madison Central's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Brookfield Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything came up roses for Madison Central against Brookfield Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, as the squad secured a 78-44 victory. Will Madison Central repeat their success, or does Brookfield Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
