Community School of Davidson had won three straight games and Dermot Lowry did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Community School of Davidson Spartans took their contest with ease, bagging a 79-39 win over the Langtree Charter Academy Lions thanks to Lowry, who went 13-for-21 on his way to 32 points and eight rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2023.
The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Moran, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 16 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 47% in the last six games he's played.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anthony Nesbit, who earned seven points. Jerel Brawley was another key player, putting up five points and five boards.
Community School of Davidson's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.
Looking ahead, Community School of Davidson will face off against Pine Lake Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pine Lake Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.6 points per game this season. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-55 win against Sugar Creek Charter on the 12th.
