He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up two sacks, making two total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defending a pass.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Basalt was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 313 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arvada only rushed for 95.
Everything came up roses for Rifle against Basalt in their previous matchup back in October of 2023 as the team secured a 55-27 victory. In that contest, Rifle amassed a halftime lead of 35-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
