The Chicago Washington Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Whiting by a score of 70-60. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chicago Washington.
Whiting's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Yovanni Garro, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Shawn Donaldson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Chicago Washington now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Whiting, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Chicago Washington will head out on the road to face off against Kelly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Whiting will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Morgan Township at 10:00 a.m. on December 26th.
