Babylon had to suffer through a rough 82-15 loss at the hands of Southampton. Babylon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-8.
Southampton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dominick White led the charge by scoring 20 points. White is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Alex Franklin, who scored 16 points.
Babylon's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2. As for Southampton, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.
Babylon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southampton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bayport-Blue Point at 4:30 p.m. Southampton is coming into the contest with 16 straight wins at home, meaning Bayport-Blue Point will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
