The Clarkstown South Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. They took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Rockland. Clarkstown South was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Rockland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kiersten Daly, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Higgins, who scored 16 points.
Clarkstown South's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for North Rockland, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarkstown South will take on the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for North Rockland, they will be playing at home against the Mounties at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
