Sabino is 8-2 against Empire since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Sabino Sabercats will head out on the road to take on the Empire Ravens at 7:00 p.m. Sabino knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine contests -- so hopefully Empire likes a good challenge.
Sabino posted their biggest win yet this season on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Palo Verde with a sharp 66-44 win. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up ten more assists than your opponent, as Sabino did.

Another player making a difference was Brenden Gargus, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and eight assists.
Meanwhile, Empire's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 69-62 to Tanque Verde. Empire has struggled against Tanque Verde recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Sabino was taken down by Empire 76-38 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Empire's Donovan Davidson, who scored 25 points along with two steals. Now that Sabino knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
