Churchill County extended their postseason success on Friday against Lowry. They secured a 61-55 W over the Lowry Buckaroos. The Greenwave are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.
Churchill County was led to victory by Raegan Johnson and Vernita Fillmore. Johnson dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 boards, while Fillmore posted 13 points in addition to five assists and four steals. That's the most points Fillmore has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Amillya Bishop, who earned 12 points.
Churchill County's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Lowry, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.
Churchill County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-31 win against Fernley on the 15th. Lowry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
