Forest is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Mount Paran Christian. The Wildcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Lexie Quash and Savanna Eatman, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Mae Owen and her ten assists. Eatman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Mount Paran Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Coming up, Forest will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against New Smyrna Beach at 6:30 p.m. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th.
