It was a good run, but the Sodus Spartans unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Gananda Central by a score of 62-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Sodus has suffered yet this season.
Miles Caviness continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Gananda Central, scoring 24 points. Caviness hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Hunter Vogt, who scored 12 points.
Sodus' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3. As for Gananda Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Sodus will be playing at home against Lyons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gananda Central, they will head out on the road to take on East Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
