The biggest upset of the week belonged to Port Charlotte, who took down 239th ranked Port Charlotte, 28-20.
Lemon Bay moved up to 234 from 288 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 7A District 11. The Manta Rays were able to make the jump by beating the Pirates 28-20.
Charlotte's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Fightin' Tarpons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brennan McGill has thrown for 617 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Dwight Reynolds has 16 catches for 290 yards. Clyde Newton leads the league in rushing with 1109 yards.
Lemon Bay made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,040 from 5,234. The improvement came about via a 28-20 victory over Port Charlotte last week.
