After both having extra time off, the ALA - West Foothills Guardians and the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their  matches after big wins in their previous games.
Last Wednesday, ALA - West Foothills made easy work of River Valley  and carried off  a  3-0 win. The Guardians haven't had any issues with the Dust Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  victory against them.
Meanwhile, Yuma Catholic got the win against Highland Prep  on Wednesday by a conclusive  3-0.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10,  25-16.
ALA - West Foothills better focus on containing  Audrina Payan and  Abbi Olsen as the pair were huge in Yuma Catholic's win. Payan  had nine  digs and three assists, while  Olsen  had five  assists and three  digs. That's the most  assists  Payan has posted  over her last three  contests.  Payton Enders also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first assists of the season.
 Yuma Catholic  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in three consecutive  matchups.
 ALA - West Foothills' record now sits at 9-6. As for Yuma Catholic, their record is now 22-1.
 ALA - West Foothills took their  win against Yuma Catholic  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024 by a conclusive  3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Guardians since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
