Sammamish has gone a perfect 7-0 against Evergreen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The RedHawks will welcome the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Sammamish 2.4, Evergreen 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Sammamish fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Cedarcrest on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 4-1 to the Red Wolves. It was the first time this season that the RedHawks let down their fans at home.

Sammamish saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolin Jaster, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Jaster is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Evergreen has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.83 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 11-3 to Interlake. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Tycean Martin was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Martin was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Riley Coughlin was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Sammamish, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Sammamish has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Evergreen struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Sammamish's way against Evergreen in their previous matchup on April 2nd, as Sammamish made off with a 7-1 win. Will the RedHawks repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
