The Trotwood-Madison Rams stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They breezed by Belmont at home to the tune of 88-61. The win was familiar territory for Trotwood-Madison who now have four in a row.
Tim Carpenter continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Delamar Blanton was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Trotwood-Madison pushed their record up to 10-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.6 points per game. As for Belmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
Trotwood-Madison will head out on the road to take on Dunbar at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Belmont won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Westerville Central at 2:00 p.m. on January 14th. Westerville Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Belmont in Ohio (Westerville Central is ranked 28th, while Belmont is ranked 290th).
