It was another big night for  Cody Braden, who rushed for 114 yards and two  TDs on only six carries, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and one  score. His rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 104  rushing yards.
 Special teams also played a big role in the game for Unioto, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Jaxon Zickafoose, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Westfall, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Piketon 53-21. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Unioto's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Westfall, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
 Everything came up roses for Unioto against Westfall in their previous matchup  back in September of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  35-0 victory. Will the Shermans repeat their success,  or do  the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
