Providence Classical came into Saturday's   game having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  46-43  win over the First Baptist Academy Eagles  on Saturday.
 Despite the loss, First Baptist Academy still got an impressive performance from   Matthew Levine, who  posted 17  points and six  rebounds. That's the most points  Levine has posted since back in December of 2023.  Nathanael Asare was another key player,  putting up five  points and four  steals.
Providence Classical's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for First Baptist Academy, they now  have a losing record at 8-9.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Classical will take on Northland Christian in a holiday battle at  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Northland Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last six matches. First Baptist Academy and River City Believers Academy will compete for holiday cheer  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday.
