Southwest EC and Imperial are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Southwest EC Eagles will head out to square off against the Imperial Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southwest EC's last six contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Southwest EC needed a bit of extra time to put away Sage Creek. They had just enough and edged the Bobcats out 2-1. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one goal.

MAXIMILIANO DE LA VEGA and IGNACIO MARTINEZ scored both of Southwest EC's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Imperial had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Mira Mesa on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Tigers were the better team in the second half.

Southwest EC's record is now 9-14. As for Imperial, their record is now 15-6.
