 Ashlyn Enke made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Jefferson got a big performance out of  Chloe Smith, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and one  triple. That's the most  RBI  Smith has posted since back in May of 2024.  Hildie Dempsey was another key player,  going 1-for-5 with one  home run.
 Jefferson  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .514. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Delavan-Darien was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They took  a  9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Williams Bay.
 Jefferson is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Delavan-Darien, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
