Wallkill hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost four straight) but thanks in part to Zoe Mesuch that streak is no more. The Wallkill Panthers strolled past the Cornwall Central Dragons with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 58-42 with plenty of help from Mesuch, who posted 32 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Her big performance that evening made it 26 games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points.

Another player making a difference was Julia Price, who earned eight points and five boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in January.

Wallkill's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Cornwall Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5.

Wallkill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 35-31 loss against Warwick on the 8th. Cornwall Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
