The Orchard Park Quakers will take on the Lancaster Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Orchard Park will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Orchard Park proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Clarence 2-1. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Quakers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
Brooklyn Meganck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Orchard Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Dombek, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Dombek has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, Lancaster made easy work of Frontier on Monday and carried off a 10-4 victory. Considering the Redskins have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Alyssa Brunner made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Brunner was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isabella DiMino, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2025. Ava Konieczny also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Lancaster kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Orchard Park's record now sits at 9-2. As for Lancaster, their record is now 7-5.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Orchard Park hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like Lancaster struggles in that department as they've averaged .335. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Orchard Park skirted past Lancaster 3-2 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Quakers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
