Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Flowers). They blew past the Bladensburg Mustangs, posting a 57-0 victory. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Kodi Gardner was his usual excellent self, rushing for 36 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Flowers' victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Bladensburg, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flowers will challenge Oxon Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Jaguars 4.3, the Clippers 14) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Bladensburg, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Laurel at 2:00 p.m.
