The LeRoy Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell 60-52 to Flanagan-Cornell. LeRoy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Flanagan-Cornell apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Kesler Collins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Flanagan-Cornell, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Reed, who scored 15 points along with six assists.
LeRoy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Flanagan-Cornell, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LeRoy will take on Fieldcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flanagan-Cornell, they will be playing at home against Deer Creek-Mackinaw at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Flanagan-Cornell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
