The Canton Little Giants will face off against the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Canton and 20 for Bushnell-Prairie City dating back to last season.

 At the plate,  Miles Hoops was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with one  triple and one  stolen base. That  stolen base was  his first of the season.  Dane Grzanich was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Bushnell-Prairie City lost  17-1 to Peoria Christian on Monday.
 Bushnell-Prairie City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Zander Jones, who  went 1-for-2 with one  RBI.
 Canton's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Bushnell-Prairie City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-19.
 Canton skirted past Bushnell-Prairie City  5-4 when the teams last played  back in May of 2024. Will the Little Giants repeat their success,  or do  the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
