The team relied heavily on Ayden Montes, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Diego Herrera, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.
Meanwhile, while it was West Wendover who put the first runs on the board last Saturday, it was Yerington who put up more. The Wolverines came up short against the Lions, falling 17-3.
West Wendover saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ciano Dorado, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
West Wendover's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pershing County, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
