The Rocky Bayou Christian Knights struggled with assists on Tuesday (the Niceville Eagles had ten more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Rocky Bayou Christian was beaten by Niceville 62-31. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rocky Bayou Christian has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Rocky Bayou Christian saw an underclassman step up: Calix McCune scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kale Johansen, who scored four points.
Niceville was led to victory by Jackson Hamman and Anwar Conley. Hamman scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Conley scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jordan Bryant, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Rocky Bayou Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9. As for Niceville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-11.
Rocky Bayou Christian will head out on the road to challenge Pensacola Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Niceville, they will be playing at home against Tate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tate has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 468 points over their last seven matchups.
