The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in February.
Covenant Christian found their leader in sophomore Lucy Hahn, who almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, nine boards, and ten blocks. Those ten blocks gave Hahn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar May, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.
Legacy Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Covenant Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Legacy Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 36-24 win against Founders Classical Academy on the 12th. Covenant Christian will take on Northland Christian in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on December 20th. Northland Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
