Meanwhile,  Hersey unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Glenbrook North by a score of  5-3.
 Hersey saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Mike Sokan, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Wheeling's win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Hersey, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6-1.
