Paola's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Osawatomie Trojans 2-1. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Paola who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-11, 19-25, 25-10.

Ellie Trachsel paced Paola's offense, picking up ten kills. Trachsel got some help from Vanessa Haas and her 17 assists.

Paola's record is now 13-1. As for Osawatomie, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Paola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Perry-Lecompton on the 27th. As for Osawatomie, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Anderson County on the 27th.
