Volleyball Recap: Keira Pierce Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat College Station

It was a proper cat-fight when Tomball Memorial duked it out with College Station on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Cougars on Tuesday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Tomball Memorial's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keira Pierce, who had six digs and six assists. That's the most digs Pierce has posted over her last five contests. Another player making a difference was Lauren Helmer, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Tomball Memorial's record is now 5-3. As for College Station, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
