Camden County will be strutting in after a victory while Cape Hatteras will be coming in after a loss.
Camden County scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 62-49 victory over Perquimans.
Camden County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Chopek, who scored 16 points. The game was Chopek's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Diego Carrion was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cape Hatteras was the victim of a rough 51-30 loss at the hands of Manteo on Thursday.
Cape Hatteras' defeat came about despite a quality game from Griffin Couch, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Couch's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Camden County's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Cape Hatteras, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Wednesday's match is shaping up to be a scrappy match: Camden County have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 34.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Cape Hatteras struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 28.7 rebounds per game. Given Camden County's sizeable advantage in that area, Cape Hatteras will need to find a way to close that gap.
