The Crossland Cavaliers will take on College Park Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. College Park Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Crossland, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Crossland beat International High School at Largo by the very same score they won with last week: 51-49.
Meanwhile, College Park Academy took a serious blow against Fairmont Heights on Tuesday, falling 77-43. While losing is never fun, College Park Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while Fairmont Heights is ranked 66th).
Crossland's win bumped their record up to 2-15. As for College Park Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.
Crossland came up short against College Park Academy in their previous meeting back in January, falling 56-50. Can Crossland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
