Cheshire Academy took down Suffield Academy on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Garret Snyder's standout performance. The Tigers had no answer to Snyder as he struck out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits. Snyder has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
