Perhaps the best among them was Jade Massey, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Massey's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Addison West, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Lynchburg-Clay's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for North Adams, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynchburg-Clay will square off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfield will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 465th, while Lynchburg-Clay is ranked 185th). North Adams will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Manchester at 6:15 p.m. on December 28th. Manchester is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
