The Sacramento Dragons had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They really took it to Sierra for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-20 victory on the road. Sacramento pushed the score to 40-20 by the end of the third, a deficit Sierra had little chance of recovering from.
Lamar Radcliffe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 160 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Radcliffe hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for three straight games. Darrius Moore also helped out as he racked up 106 rushing yards.
When it comes to explaining why Sierra lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anthony Grady. Despite the final result, he gained 120 total yards and two touchdowns.
Sacramento's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-6. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Sierra, Capital Christian, and El Camino. As for Sierra, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Sacramento will take on Escalon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Escalon will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Sierra does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
