The East Hamilton Hurricanes will square off against the Walker Valley Mustangs at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

 Jaden Haywood had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 252 yards and four  TDs while picking up 12.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 46 receiving yards and one  touchdown. That's the most  rushing touchdowns  he has posted since back in October of 2024.  Wyatt Miller was another key player, throwing for 260 yards and three  TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: East Hamilton was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 388  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile,  everything came up roses for Walker Valley against Soddy Daisy on Friday as the  squad secured  a  35-7 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Mustangs' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Trojans are ranked 108th).
 Walker Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for East Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
