After two games on the road, Scotland Christian Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Thomas Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Scotland Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 727 points over their last ten games.
Scotland Christian Academy pushed their score all the way to 75 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 85-75 to Calvary Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (56), Scotland Christian Academy still had to take the loss.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kadin Bryson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tavon Farmer, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds.
Thomas Academy was handed a 20-point defeat in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against LifeSpring Academy on Monday. Thomas Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against LifeSpring Academy and snuck past 40-37. The win was just what Thomas Academy needed coming off of a 65-45 defeat in their prior match.
Scotland Christian Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Thomas Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
