The Gaither Cowboys entered their tilt with the Sumner Stingrays with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Gaither secured a 59-53 W over Sumner on Tuesday. This was payback for Gaither, who suffered a 78-41 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Gaither's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rico Kindred, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jayce Humphries, who scored 15 points.
Gaither is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. As for Sumner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.
