Mattanawcook will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Mount View at 7:00 PM. Mattanawcook is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Mattanawcook gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last week. Everything went their way against Orono as the team secured a 48-12 victory.
Meanwhile, Mount View had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They were completely outmatched, falling 12-56 to Foxcroft.
Mattanawcook's win lifted them to 1-0 while Mount View's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Mattanawcook can add another positive mark to their record or if Mount View can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mattanawcook's step.
