A big part of Willamette's victory came down to the chemistry between Zeke Thomas and his top target Hunter Vaughn. Thomas threw for 301 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt while Vaughn picked up 132 receiving yards and four TDs. Thanks to that big game, Thomas is now up to 23 passing touchdowns on the season. A healthy portion of Thomas' aerial production (96 yards to be exact) also went to TaeSaun Tarusan, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
