While Tuesday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Morgan Barron. She wasn't messing around on Tuesday, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over six innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with six or more strikeouts.

Coming up, Barron and Nederland will head out on the road to challenge Port Arthur Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans are limping into the matchup having lost four straight at home.
